I began Therapeutic Songwriting in 1992 whilst working in a Romanian orphanage. I later trained as a Play Therapist and now specialise in Therapeutic Songwriting and Jungian Sandtray and am an associate lecturer at the University of the West of England in Mental Health.

As well as facilitating therapy sessions at my private practice I also train Music and Play Therapists in Therapeutic Songwriting Skills in the UK and abroad. Since last year I have been delivering "Music & Mindfulness" training for SENCOs, Inclusion Leaders and Teachers in the South West and also have the privilege of working with "Changing Tunes" charity who deliver music and songwriting initiatives in prisons across the UK.

I am the Director of The Therapeutic Media Company and work as a consultant within the Education and Mental Health sectors for Play Therapy International, Wiltshire Music Connect, and Integra Schools.

I am married to my lovely wife Clare and we have three children, who all love writing songs. :-)
